Tour #1:

Virginia City "Step Back in Time"

Description:

Come and rediscover history!  The mining boom turned Virginia City into the most important settlement between Denver and San Francisco and the grubby prospectors were turned into instant Millionaires - who built mansions, imported expensive furniture, food and fashions from Europe and the Orient, and ended up helping to finance the Civil War.  Your tour starts at the famous Bucket of Blood Saloon where libations flow and we'll take your old time photo. A tour on the Virginia City Trolley helps you get caught up on the "people and Places.  Tour the Ponderosa Mine and the Way it Was Museum. You'll have some time to shop C Street for antiques and treasures.  You'll also get to step onto and explore the V & T Railroad Steam Locomotive and see how they enjoyed the elaborate Pullman Railroad Cars. There are eight cemeteries located on the edge of town that we can explore. We finish this historic journey at the Fourth Ward School & Museum with refreshments. Of course, there's so much more but you'll get a wonderful overview of how amazing and important Virginia City was as the United States grew after the Civil War.

Tour #2:

Can You Believe It?

Description:

This tour will take you to our newest venue - the new Reno Aces AAA Ballpark. This $50 million dollar, state of the art ballpark will just have finished up it inaugural season! Let's take a look through the dugouts and get a glimpse of baseball life as we wander through the locker rooms.   We finish upstairs in the Hall of Fame Club Suite, where you get a birds eye view of the entire park, not to mention the Reno Skyline. AceBall is here!!

Then it is onto the National Automobile Museum, the Harrah Collection. Here is a place where time, culture, beauty, history, human invention, ingenuity and frivolity merge to fascinate us in the form of cars.  You can stroll down period-style street scenes and stand inches from cars once owned by the rich and famous. Voted in the top 16 car museums of the world. We'll even take your picture in a vintage car!!  This museum is truly a feast for the eyes, a journey for the soul and the story of a nation.   

Tour #3:

"The Biggest Little City in the World"

Description:

Join us for a stroll through history!

We'll explore downtown Reno, a city that started as a small river crossing but ended up as the "Biggest Little City." Before Las Vegas ever had a name, Reno was a Mecca for movie stars seeking divorces, entertainers the likes of Sammy Davis & Frank Sinatra.  Pappy Smith, Bill Harrah and others built small restaurants, casino's and card rooms that ended up as hotels and showrooms catering to the rich and famous!  Experience early architecture and hear the stories of their beginnings. Historic Reno to present day - you'll get a glimpse of our small city as it undergoes a renaissance throughout the downtown corridor. Visit downtown spots like the Lake Mansion to the Lear Theatre. Our Historic Courthouse & Post Office to the new West Street Market.  Historic churches, bridges and hotels to our Modern River and Wine walk. Come stroll our downtown with the Nevada Historical Society as they bring Reno alive! We might be able to get a picture under the famous ARCH!! Also, our new community of downtown merchants want to entice you with food and drink!  

Tour #4:

Carson City - Nevada State Capitol, A Stroll Through the 1800"s

Description:

Talk a walk back into the 1800's in Carson City, Nevada's Capitol City. Take this leisurely stroll along the Kit Carson Trail, through out the cities fabulous historic district.  You will be guided by a historic character dressed in period costume. Your guide will tell you all about Carson City's famous residents.  You will be able to tour a few of the homes and possibly the Governor's Mansion, along with the Capitol building, built in 1870.  Come see the sites and hear the tales of our state capital and its colorful residents! You might even see a stagecoach running right down the middle of the town's streets.
