2009 NTA Tour Operator Spring Meet

NACTA Agents Mean Business!

You've always had great opportunities to buy and sell with your fellow tour operators at Spring Meet during the Speed Dating session and informally throughout the event as you network in a casual atmosphere with your operator friends. NTA has just joined forces with the National Association of Career Travel Agents to bring their Western Regional Meeting to Monterey and join in with our Spring Meet.

What does that mean for you? It means new buyers for your product at the Spring Meet. While the NACTA agents will be holding their own seminars during NTA's scheduled breakouts, they will join with us for luncheons, evening events, sightseeing and, most importantly, Speed Dating.

Who are the NACTA agents? According to their most recent profile survey, NACTA agents:

  • Have been in the travel business for an average of 11.4 years
  • Before becoming independent, 36.4 percent of them worked in a traditional agency
  • List tours as their second largest source of revenue, with 22.7% selling tours
  • Book an average of 3 tours per year

NACTA knows that their agents can benefit from increased tour sales and that NTA operators offer the best, most expansive offering of tour product in the industry. They understand us and that's why NTA is so excited to partner with them and bring you this added opportunity.

As tour operators, we all know that any new source of revenue is a good thing, particularly this year. That's what makes this partnership so exciting-it offers increased revenues for everyone!
