Kick off the 2009 Convention in style! Throughout the year, the Reno 
area is host to dozens of special events including Hot August Nights, the Great Reno Balloon Race, the National Championship Air Races, the Reno Rodeo, Street Vibrations, Italian Festival, national bowling tournaments, and more. The Icebreaker event, sponsored by Reno-Tahoe, will give you a little taste of Reno Special Events.
The venue for this spectacular night is the National Bowling Stadium, the only facility of its kind in the world, and dubbed "The Taj Mahal of Tenpins." NBS will be transformed into a never-ending festival of food, dancing, and entertainment. We'll "spare" you further details for now, but the event will definitely be "strike"-ing, and sure to make your sides "split." We promise it will "bowl" you over!
