This morning on NBC's The Today Show, Matt Lauer and Al Roker met with American luge athletes Mark Grimmette and Brian Martin, to try their own at the doubles luge. To see more of their attempt, visit the Today Show Web site.

Grimmette and Martin have climbed one spot in the standings every four years, taking home a bronze in Nagano in 1998 and a silver in Salt Lake City.

This year, the American team is hoping for the gold. They are the most decorated doubles team in U.S. luge history with 61 international medals and three World Cup championships.
