Giving Back

NTA Gives Back
NTA and its official philanthropy, Tourism Cares are pleased to announce Saint Joseph's Oratory of Mount-Royal as the site of the 2010 NTA Gives Back event at Convention. Volunteers will be involved in a variety of projects at one of Montreal's most visited attractions on Saturday, November 13 from 7:00-10:00 pm. Space is limited so the first 200 to register can help us prepare this iconic landmark for the holiday season, wrap gifts from local children and more.

Dance the Night Away at Tourism Rocks!
No one throws a party quite like NTA, and delegates can experience that firsthand on Monday, November 15, at Tourism Rocks at Newtown, the trendy, chic nightclub in Montreal's upscale Crescent neighborhood. This perennial favorite provides NTA delegates the opportunity to dance, network, meet new and old friends and have fun while supporting a good cause - Tourism Cares.

Back by popular demand - The Tourism Cares Silent Auction!
NTA Convention delegates asked for it - so Tourism Cares brought it back! The Silent Auction is a great way to showcase your organization's product or service. Donate an item to this year's auction to show your support!

Reception and Live Auction
It's always exciting to watch all the action at the Tourism Cares Live Auction! Enjoy a glass of wine, beer or a soft drink and mingle with your Convention colleagues and bid (or watch your friends bid) on some incredible travel packages and memorabilia on Tuesday, November 16, immediately following the Tour & Travel Exchange and in conjunction with the closing of the Silent Auction. This is just one more opportunity to experience Tourism Cares putting the fun in fundraising!

Mentor a Student
One of the most gratifying ways to give back to your industry is to share your expertise with a future travel professional. The Tourism Cares Experience the Industry mentoring program gives you that unique opportunity. Tour Operators, Suppliers and DMOs are asked to volunteer just a few hours of their time with a travel and tourism student. We assure you. It‘s well worth the investment.
