Product Development Trip
2015 Family Travel PDT
Apply now for NTA's Oct. 3-11 Family Travel Product Development Trip to British Columbia and Alberta, Canada.
NTA's 2015 Product Development Trip (PDT) will take tour operators, who apply for this business-focused trip and are approved by Destination British Columbia and Travel Alberta, to western Canada this fall (Oct. 3-11). The two destinations will provide participating operators with an extraordinary opportunity to experience firsthand key multigenerational and adventure travel product offerings, while also participating in networking events to meet with suppliers. In addition, one of North America's leading family travel authorities, Nancy Schretter, will accompany the trip as a guest expert. Schretter is the founder of Family Travel Network and has been frequently interviewed on local and national television such as The Today Show. If you're interested in applying to join the PDT, submit your application as soon as possible (priority reviews take place on June 30, July 31 and Aug. 21).

What are PDTs?
PDTs are a family of in-depth trips that help tour operators experience a destination in a way that allows them to know exactly how to package and sell that product to their customers. NTA has been offering PDTs since 2001 and in that span, has taken members to more than 15 countries on six continents.
Tour operators: Explore new destinations, experience new product and develop trusted relationships.
Destinations and suppliers: Host a PDT to highlight what's new in your area and market your product through personal, first-hand experience to the nearly 700 tour operator companies in the NTA membership. For more information on hosting, contact Morgan Maravich.
