Parks Canada is celebrating two important milestones--the 125th anniversary of the creation of Canada's first national park (Banff National Park, Alberta) in 2010 and the 100th anniversary of the Dominion Parks Services, the first national park service in the world and now Parks Canada, in 2011. June 7, 2010: Tourism Cares for America
More than 300 tourism professionals representing 100 companies and four countries gathered in San Francisco June 4 to take part in the annual Tourism Cares for America clean-up event. The site of this year's project was Angel Island, a historic parcel of land in San Francisco Bay that is recognized as the Ellis Island of the West. For the second year, the World Religious Travel Association (WRTA), is co-locating their Expo with NTA at Convention '10 in Montreal, Quebec. WRTA President, Kevin J.
