Peru Product Development Trip
Twenty-one NTA tour operators enjoyed the sights and sounds of Peru thanks to Akorn Destination Management, the company that put together this NTA Product Development Trip from Dec. 6 to 12. The trip originated in the fabulous city if Lima, "The City of Kings," which was founded by the Spanish conquistador Francisco Pizarro. From there, the itinerary to participants into the mountains in Cusco and to the ruins at Machu Picchu.
From dinner in a Peruvian home, to a weaving exhibition and navigating the maze of vendors in the market of Pisac, the group also had many chances to learn more about the local culture.
