Rhode Island Product Development Trip
From April 23-27, 2006, Rhode Island Tourism played host to NTA's first North American Product Development Trip. The trip, entitled "Rhode Island: Big Things Come in Small Packages," showcased the state's exciting cities and venues.
Tour operators traveled to Warwick, Newport, Providence and Block Island and visited historic mansions, enjoyed a harbor sail, harvested oysters and much more. The trip included site inspections of hotels, restaurants and attractions and allowed participants to meet with Rhode Island suppliers.
