Tapas Dine Around
Date: Friday, April 16Time: 20h30 - 22h30 (8:30-10:30 p.m.)
Tapas are the most popular type of Andalusian cuisine. This traditional, healthy way of eating was born centuries ago in taverns. Mugs or jars of wine were served with a lid to keep the flies out. A small portion of food was served on top of the lid to give patrons something a bit more substantial than just wine.
The Spanish word for lid or tap is tapa and today--with some 500 different kinds of tapas--it is a must-try food in any Spanish bar.
Seville's tapas are world-renowned. In fact, the city is considered the capital of tapeo (eating tapas). More than just a traditional or typical way of eating, tapeo is a true local gastronomic ritual.
Discover, enjoy and taste the best tapas of the city. At Friday night's MONTAGE Dine Around, a local coordinator will accompany guests as they stroll bar to bar and help them choose among the wide variety of tapas.
